The JSP chief said that he came to the Rajamahendravaram Central Prison to extend his solidarity with the TDP chief

The Jana Sena Party (JSP) chief Pawan Kalyan announced on Thursday that his party and the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) will fight together in the upcoming elections. He also said that he firmly believes that the BJP will also sail with the two parties in the polls.

The JSP Chief visited the TDP Chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu along with the TDP leaders Nara Lokesh and Nandamuri Balakrishna at Rajamahendravaram Central Prison in Andhra Pradesh on Thursday. Post his visit, he addressed the media and said that he has been witnessing anarchy rule in the state for the past four-half years. He also stated that as a part of that anarchy rule, the former chief minister Chandrababu was framed in illegal cases and was sent to remand.

The JSP chief said that he came to Rajamahendravaram to extend his solidarity with the TDP chief.

“Earlier I disputed with Chandrababu and contested in the elections separately. I took the decision on behalf of the JSP for the wellbeing of the state and in order to strengthen the national integrity. I openly said that the state was divided without proper procedure when I found the JSP”, Pawan Kalyan said. He further added that the supporters of the current Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Jagan Mohan Reddy will only have a time of six months and if they are expecting the ‘war’ he will declare that against them.

He further alleged that the Chief Minister Jagan’s unruly behaviour led him to stand beside the TDP leaders Lokesh and Balakrishna. “The injustice meted to Chandrababu may happen to everyone in the state tomorrow and cases were filed against JSP leaders after they protested in Visakhapatnam. I am strongly condemning the arrest of Chandrababu”, Kalyan said. He also added that it is difficult to stop the atrocities of the ruling YSRCP if the JSP and TDP contest separately in the elections and it will continue for decades together. “That’s why I took the decision that the JSP will fight the next elections along with the TDP, for the future of Andhra Pradesh”, he said.

Regarding the seat sharing and preparation of the cadres of JSP and TDP for the elections, he said that he will share that later. “The YSCP leaders have no right to ask the JSP to contest in the elections alone. Am I asking Jagan to contest from Amalapuram instead of Pulivendula? The ruling party leaders celebrated the arrest of Chandrababu. It is not wise to celebrate one’s death or one’s arrest. I feel sad after heard the news of the sudden demise of the then chief minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy”, he said.
